the 3rd of april, and april showers have arrived.   time to get the wellies out & i love the choice at joules;  spotty, stripy, floral & short & cute with bows on.....

....did you also know that you can get wellies for your wedding, aptly named weddingtons?

thunderstorms ahead.....x

just arrived in hong kong for another 3 and a bit weeks of tooing and froing between here & china....have left behind a rainy & chilly england and arrived to find a rainy but balmy hong kong. the forecast is for thunderstorms all week, which i don't mind as i love a really good thunderstorm...will i still be saying that in the middle of the week when i'm alone & rattling around a big chinese house on my own.......?

this trip i want to get out and explore more on the sunday's i have free...inspired by {or shamed by} *the cherry blossom girl* wonderful photos of hongkong, and the places she found, like the goldfish market & the hong kong history museum had made me want to explore....

by the way....any tips for air conditioning....as a non-airconditioning needing brit i can never seem to get the temp quite right - either too hot or too cold......

after a week of sunshine it is now raining, so being in paris this weekend would have been fun. as it is i'm looking out a lawns that need to be mowed, tomato plants ready to go in the greenhouse, growbags ready to be planted with lettuce......hoping for sunshine again tomorrow

this week has been a true april week and we've had showers of rain every day, including some not so april like thunder & lightning! i'm looking outside now and although not raining the sky is grey and dull and you know the chances of the sun shining today are not good! on the bright side this is perfect excuse for either....

*jumping in puddles whilst wearing gorgeous floral cath kidston wellies
*buying lots of lovely umbrella's
*or just staying indoors, curled up on the sofa watching old movies.....

i've been feeling very "mondayish" today.....maybe something to do with taking yesterday off work. do monday morning blues only affect those of us who work, i wonder? the mood today wasn't helped by the atrocious weather........rain, rain, rain. but not lovely spring showers, just complete deluges....ugh!
