have spent a wonderful afternoon browsing ebay for lovely vintage crochet doilies, old lace tablecloths and other gorgeous vintage cloths.......buying lovely things for very little money.....perfect! and then after the spending, the baking....very yummy chocolate cake....

feeling quite tired today......would have loved to have taken a little time off work but it's a really busy time at the moment so just biding my time till the weekend....

....starting to work on Autumn 2010 at the moment, and looking at really pretty stories for girls, lots of trims, ribbons and lace......we have the most adorable picture on one of our boards of a girl in a wider lace headband.....roll on Autumn!

the saturday shopping list was started by fancy picnic so hop on over there to take a look at everybody elses lists

i have had gardners in to clear the jungle that i have laughingly pretended was a garden
so i now have a wonderfully clear space to fill with beautiful flowers and pots and hanging baskets
and a nearly empty greenhouse to fill with homegrown tomatoes, lettuce and herbs
